Whether someone is brand new to riding, returning after time away, or simply spending another day in the saddle, our expert instruction and safety-first approach create a calm, supportive environment. From the barn to the saddle, every experience is designed to build comfort, trust, and confidence—at a pace that feels right.

    • Q. How do I register for riding lessons with Heritage Ranch?

      A. Simply complete and submit this form, then call (732) 333 - 7324 to schedule your lesson with our team!

  • A. Heritage Ranch programs are designed for children ages 6 and up, depending on the activity. Riding lessons and summer camp are age-appropriate and tailored to beginner and intermediate riders. 

  • A. No prior experience is required. Many of our campers and students are first-time riders. Our instructors provide step-by-step instruction, safety guidance, and small group supervision to ensure a positive experience for all skill levels.

  • A. Yes. Safety is our top priority. All riding activities are supervised by experienced staff, ASTM/SEI-certified riding helmets are required and provided, and campers are taught ranch safety rules daily. Activities are structured to be age-appropriate and closely monitored.

  • A. Heritage Ranch programs run rain or shine. In the event of rain or inclement weather, activities may be adjusted to include indoor or covered barn time, animal education, crafts, or non-mounted activities to keep participants safe and engaged.
